Research

Often many of the questions brought to us are similar in vein to queries we have handled on previous occasions. The cumulative effect of this is called experience. In many instances we know precisely what is required and exactly how to go about it. Occasionally an assignment will come along where we think: well this has never been done before! Now how do we get a handle on this one?

The researcher inside us is immediately hooked. We gather in brainstorming sessions, organise workshops and ponder the problem from every angle, ideas are raised, tested and discarded if shown to be wanting, equipment built, experimented with, demolished, then reconfigured again.

Until someone eventually yells 'Eureka'; or words to that effect when the moment finally arrives, as it always does. For one of Medusa’s most impressive and enduring qualities is our boundless curiosity and the culture of regarding problems as an opportunity to discover new things. In short; we innovate.
