Archaeology
The past is never completely buried, it has the potential to be unearthed anywhere. The soil in many areas can be persuaded to reveal its secrets on the previous climatic conditions from the ancient period to the present, disclose whether people lived there in long forgotten times and give an indicative illustration of their daily lives. If the area has also suffered from natural disasters in the past, the soil will also hold a great deal of information on these events.
Medusa has both the knowledge and the systems at hand to coax these hidden details from the soil. Composition, build-up and structure reveal much about the past. Additional information can be gleaned when we identify and focus on specific concentrations of substances and materials; remnants of human or animal activity or plant life, and objects such as tools and household materials provide good examples.
