Density meter
You can only make a solid decision on a proposed building or infrastructure project, once you have taken accurate measurements of the density and water content of the soil. Everything from constructing houses to deepening water channels requires essential information on the soil conditions.
Whether on land or at sea, Medusa’s density meters deliver reliable soil data. The core of the meter is a radioactive source of radiation, which is inserted into the soil. The radiation is partly absorbed, and partly returned. Measuring the difference between the two reveals everything about the density of the soil locally. This has many uses, for example determining whether a site which has been backfilled with sand meets the required demands, or revealing information about the most important currents in the sea.
And of course Medusa can also assist you with interpreting the data supplied by the density meter.
