The Medusa Airborne Gamma spectrometer is a lightweight alternative for traditional systems. After initial calibration in the Medusa calibration facility there is no need for further pad calibrations during your surveys, saving you precious time. The Medusa system is energy stabilized by nature so there is no need for warming up or using radio-active sources before you can start your survey in the morning. You just switch on the system and it is ready for take off!
Medusa can take care of integrating the data-logging software on your own data acquisition sytem or provide a stand-alone system taking care of the whole data acquisition cycle. Same goes for any auxiliary device, we can take care of integration in your current set-up or deliver a full fledged system and takeg full responsibility for providing a complete system. You decide what you prefer!
The Medusa Gamma Spectrometer uses a single 4L CsI(Na) crystal yielding higher efficiency and more robustness. The spectrometer can be connected to any data acquisition system over the interface you prefer. Our innovative software solution features full spectral analysis using all the data that is available.It includes correction algorythms for elevation, cosmics and radon providing you the best possible data for your K, U, Th concentrations. Of course you can export the data to the industry leading Geological software suits.
